Please find below a small selection of resources to assist with your children's learning at home.
One of the most valuable resources is the 'Purple Mash' suite of programmes which can be accessed from the tab above, or by clicking here. This includes all kinds of exciting activities and games for children to work on at home. If you have lost your child's log in, please contact their class teacher.
We use a specific type of lined paper to help children improve their handwriting. Samples of this paper can be downloaded here, in different widths, so you can print these and use them at home.
High Frequency Words
All children need to be learning to read, write and spell the 'high frequency words'. Obviously, younger pupils will only just be beginning this process, but, by Year 2, we would want all of these to be secure. Here are some great word cards which can be printed and used as flashcards, or for games such as 'pairs' and snap.
Times Tables Booklets
A great booklet for children to complete to practice their tables. Sums are mixed up which is great for the children to really develop a deep knowledge of the tables rather than just knowing them 'in order'.
This is vital and contains the full curriculum that we teach the children. It will also show you what your children need to be able to do at each stage of their education. Particularly helpful are the spellings lists in the Appendix, which detail the words children should be able to spell in each year group.
