Anti-Bullying and Equalities
Ravensworth CE Primary is a school with no tolerance for abusive or bullying behaviour. Children are consistently taught to value and respect every individual, regardless of race, culture, religion, or ability. Incidents of bullying or discriminatory behaviour, should they ever arise, will be treated very seriously.
Pupils are always invited to share any concerns with their class teacher, or the headteacher, through an 'open door' policy.
Our anti-bullying policy has a helpful overview for children as its first page. You can find it by clicking here.
We regularly teach the children about the importance of staying safe online, both through discrete Computing lessons, special sessions, and by embedding this understanding throughout the curriculum. We also offer practical advice for parents, and arrange twilight E-safety Presentations for parents, carers and governors.
There is a useful document, 'Keeping Your Child Safe Online', which can be found by clicking the link.
